access and parking literally on the doorstep

we had an evening meal on arrival with good views of the golf course and surrounding trees

very accommodating, breakfast was excellent

find the rebranded thonock park accommodation is an integral part of the well known gainsborough golf club

minor but the kids high chairs were pretty dirty, they are hard to keep clean and they are probably barely used

and for a top quality family hotel this was sadly disappointing games room be ideal for older kids

i've never seen so many people inc kids with slippers and pj's on

kids enjoyed the swimming

plus it would be great to have a playground for kids either outdoors or indoors one

clean room with a play park outside for the kids and pub next door for dinner and breakfast

clean and tidy, lots of facilities for kids

beautiful location, close to the canal for walks, the restaurant was very good and if you had kids a nice

clean accommodation and the restaurant was brilliant including the play area for the kids

we just needed a night to ourselves away from the kids

was too tired to go back out to reception, having already changed, to sort out tv, blinds or wifi, which was

we had to cut our santa trip short as the kids were exhausted from being up most of the night

got sorted and above us just walking round was so noisy was not suitable if you wany you and your kids to actually

are small so we managed with one on the sofa but it could have been a problem with bigger kids

was comfortable, there was a wedding reception on at the hotel but didn't affect our stay (no kids nose for

we knew we would be out all day so needing a phone near the bed to keep us in contact with our kids was important

had the worst experience possible at this hotel, no free room service even tho we paid 155 for a night, requested

the rooms need a complete overhaul and brought up to date (no wifi)

bar and restaurants are reasonably priced, we spent a lot of time in the bar

the food in the bar area was ok, nothing special however the breakfast was lovely.

the spa alone was truly amazing and pictures on their site don t show half of the facilities the

we had a room with a sofa bed in it for the kids

one of my kids slipped in the large shower area and the other ran into the very large glass screen

is that the flooring inside the shower was very slippery and i did almost slip so didnt let my kids use the

only problem was no soundproofing so got woke at 7am by kids running around upstairs

with loads of people inside playing room also running up and down the corridor shouting like kids

loved our stay here, kids loved it even under the covid restrictions only problem was our bathroom was not as

restaurant was very very noisy but to be fair it was half term and kids galore

place as a whole was great the bar and restaurant has a brilliant kids area and there are great cakes and ice

they had a breakfast with bing event which packed the place out with kids so you couldn't move, ruined the

kids running around screaming in corridors and lift, using it as a playground, no security despite

loud kids disco went on until 11pm but quiet after that.

only used the restaurant once for breakfast, but the food and service were excellent
