the wifi in 226 is a minus although i have stayed in rooms the other end of the same floor and i

hotel ambience is of period comfort, with very relaxed and accomplished bar and breakfast options

parking is on site and there is plenty of it

ample free car parking happy, professional helpful staff as well

lovely breakfast very comfortable lounge areas.

staff, room, facilities and food excellent nothing too much trouble. parking and location great

the wifi didn't work at all when we arrived, although i eventually managed to download some files by

location for the golf course and close to town for amenities and restaurants

we had coffee and drinks afterwards in the bar and this was also great service

plenty of parking

weak wifi in room

large parking area and lovely garden

unsecured wifi so unsuitable for working

comfortable bed. nice garden and patio. ample safe parking

plenty of parking

breakfast was freshly cooked to order and also very delicious

food and breakfast are plentiful and excellent staff and kerry and steve are really

the breakfast was delicious and we will definitely return

the choices from the bar were very good, bateman's brewery ales being the draught beer, i enjoyed a few of them

excellent hosts and very good restaurant for breakfast and evening meal

kids play area was great for our boys too

nothing! this place is my perfect stay for a family! we loved it, the kids want to come back!

ample parking and clean and comfortable accommodation.

lovely relaxing restaurant with views over golf course

food served in the restaurant was high standard and the service from the young men serving at the bar and on

fast free wifi

food is great hot and tasty full english breakfast, or plenty of other choices cereals orange juice would stay

breakfast was amazing, easy check in, free parking on sundays, great spot and insanely well priced,

stayed midweek so caught the 'buisness' timings for breakfast

i was very appreciative of her doing my laundry for me, and accommodating my request for an early breakfast

wonky kitchen bin.

always clean and comfortable.kitchens always well maintained as are bathrooms.

free wifi and a decent tv in the room

spotlessly clean, fully kitted out kitchen

kitchen is

from kitchenette and hanging rail, not really any storage space or surfaces to put personal belongings,

would be nice to have some more kitchen towels and a dish drainer

cracking place even if you dont fish, the bar is great and the home made pizza is best i've eaten in my life

location, fishing was great and the cabins have everything you need the on site pizza shed and bar was a bonus

modern, clean and cosy cabin, with private parking

com said there was a wellness gym and pool

gym was well equipped- but take some water with you because there s no drinking fountain

had room service for breakfast on the second day as the lift wasn't working

the bar area was very nice, cosy

laundry van unloading at 7

the only downside of this brilliant hotel was that no bar was available after 8.00pm.

wifi connection not consistent, not much variety for breakfast

clean and well equipped - including a little kitchen with a hob and microwave

couldn't get the wifi to work

were disappointed that we could not even get a drink in the bar / coffee

great welcome despite arriving at10.30 at night, sat at the bar chatting until closing time

lovely room , great bar staff , nice friendly atmosphere, excellent night sleep.

staff amazing location rooms clean bar downstairs with a nice music which one u didn t hear from a room

decor and minimalist furnishings secure back entrance for residents to avoid traversing the bar friendly helpful

lovely atmosphere down in the bar aswell

pet friendly establishment, comfortable room and good value

our host was very welcoming and helpful, the room was large, clean and well appointed, and the parking was

pub, free parking, excellent beer, top staff, football on the box, friendly locals, comfortable room with

location and parking

the parking is really useful because it is a very busy

really good breakfast, good choices & very filling

the bar and restaurant look great, room was quite small and dark, but the bed was enormous and

very good breakfast

lovely bar below rooms

no wifi 1 milk pod small soft saggy mattress

look no further as i don t think you will find a place with as much to offer as the twenty bar and hotel

by night the bar downstairs comes alive and the locals are all really friendly, the staff are brilliant

room had a fridge, microwave, iron/ironing board guy at the bar who gave us our key and instructions was very

the hotel has techie quirks like led lighting and fireplace

option for late check out for a small fee was so welcomed after being out in the cold and wet for about 5

wifi in my room was poor.

good bar food, friendly service

town centre location hotel bar and entertainment was fair

wifi was a bit slow and interrupting

only issue is there is no staff to greet you, when i arrived there there was someone working the bar, however

wifi does not work and they need to employ a cleaner as never sore one

loved the bar area however it needs more of an atmosphere to retain customers.

the small gym, only half the machines worked.

oh and the room service was handy my first night when little one was unsettled in the bar

an actual laundry service as opposed to dry cleaning. ac in room was not working.

there were no laundry services at the time

the wifi connection was a little patchy, but not a huge problem as i wasn't working!

in the rooms the tv is only internet connected and didn t work properly as the wifi is terrible

wifi wasn't in the rooms which may not matter but travelling with work was a major hindrance.

advertised with free wifi, i couldn t locate any

hotel, with early check in and a warm welcome

wifi - if there was any, i didn't know about it.

room design, easy access, good location, clean room, seamless tv and wifi

sparse but just about adequate kitchen equipment

as with most hotels, drinks at the bar were very expensive.

bed very comfortable breakfast good choice, fresh and hot staff very pleasant and

more vegan choice on bar menu

of breakfast items and drinks, which are constantly re-filled - my only negative (and it is a pet hate of mine

418, the pull out sofa bed had kids drawings etc all underneath on the floor

quiet room. walking distance into town. friendly owner. good bar with good selection of beers.

the staff were excellent and the bar patrons were friendly

than above the bar, it was adjacent to the the bar therefore it was very quiet

payment, letting us put our things away first would ve been nice as we went straight to the bar anyway, and

also being a friday night bar area open until 12pm where music was extremely noisey and made sleeping impossible

seperate, toilet under eaves and hitting your head on tv as you come out of toilet, tiny bed, kitchen units

our rooms were brand new with good beds, wifi, tv

nice breakfast

couldn t ask for anything better apart from my partner having some cook breakfast it was a well spent night

breakfast although continental there was plenty of choice

living around the corner and this is second time we have stayed here , great to have free wifi

parking can be alittle tricky with residents parking

room, quiet bed very helpful staff- extremely accommodative to my requests good restaurant and bar top notch

this was in the spa and just mentioning it as disappointing consider how great everything else was

connected to wifi ok but no internet signal

breakfast with efficient service

the hotel's location was very central, making it easy to get around, and the parking at the rear of the building

on site parking a real plus

it easy to get around, and the parking at the rear of the building was a real bonus and the breakfast was

free parking in nearby car park provided

having to park away from the building a bit of a bind, though, again, free parking which is positive

we were not told the wifi code

location, secure wifi, detailed welcome instructions in room, good breakfast, cleanliness

hotel, great staff and food, overnight parking is nearby in public car park but only a short walk and short term

breakfast lacked in choice
