good breakfast choice in a pleasant dining room. staff outstanding

we had sandwiches in the bar at lunchtime

the only point of any negativity, a minor one, is that the tables in the bar could do with a little work

spa felt a little tired and the refreshments were very expensive and not very imaginative / healthy

gravel path down to our cottage accommodation and spa was quite precarious and my wife slipped once on way down

we loved the spa and enjoyed massages and time in the good sized pool often having it to ourselves

the spa is beautiful with a great pool and very friendly and professional staff

staff are very friendly and plenty of parking

evening meal and breakfast were both very nice

left too early for breakfast but it would of been top quality, had sandwich to take away

thing really, we didn t seem to have a working wifi for 2 of the 3 nights we stayed

was a problem with parking as often all the spaces around the hotel tended to be occupied whenever we required a space

we had a very pleasant nightcap in the bar after seeing jools holland a beautiful 10 minute stroll away along the prom

totally unlike the grand at scarborough, where the foyer bar closed early at 10:50pm,

the hotel doesn’t do snacks in the evening and it’s not possible to buy a coffee at the bar in the evening

staff were kind enough to allow us an early check in, but it was always difficult to find staff - we never saw anyone at reception
