there was a loud group of people at the bar next door

the bar downstairs is attended by both guests and locals

no sports on tv in bar but that ok it is a quite place.

bar was perfect for us not too big or loud

the setting of the hotel is lovely and we had an amazing view out to the golf

weren't aware that the babysitter couldn't change nappies and she also didn't want to bring our kids to the playground - she only wanted to look after them in our hotel room

treated myself to a spa treatment on the friday, staff were so lovely, very pleasant, the treatment was great, nodded

hotel spacious rooms staff could not do enough for us and our kids even accomdating non menu food items for fussy kiddos

opted for the breakfast hamper and ate the excellent continental breakfast on our balcony above the brook

the spa was amazing,

each evening we socialized in the lounge and the bar staff went above and beyond with all of the guests

the only disappointment was the pool was too cold.

the pools are beautiful and the spa massage i had was one of the best

i ordered room service for breakfast (i m coeliac so i nervously only ordered toast) such a friendly waiter (-)didn't like the extra cost for the room service as we were charged per meal per peson yet it was a family room (-)there was a mix up with room service (-)room service breakfast extremely poor quality, coffee in sachets with a pot of boiling water and no (-)room service menu could be better (-)the room service for food was expensive than i calculated (-) i didn't like the 5 pp room service charge (-)wasn t that great there was no welcome pack or brochures explaining for example if there was room service or amenities etc

the prices of the bar menu was a bit steep e.g. the price of a sandwich was 16

paul the bar man was excellent, attentive and very witty

the bar is small and cosy and the dining room is shaped and laid out in a way that you have plenty room

very nice atmosphere, cosy relax bar and the surroundings are beautiful!

handy location in the heart of wicklow town. a lot of parking as well, which was free.
