1 was a lady on reception ( i can't remember her name she was on fri +sat) 1 lady, who was in the bar and in the function room she was amazing (+)spa was excellent; bar staff were reasonable nice and interested in customers (+) bar open until late evening was a bonus after a long day (-)the bar staff could be friendlier (-)only thing it lacked was a bit of ambience in the bar and could have done with a bit of background music over breakfast (+) the restaurant served lovely food and the bar had a good range of spirits and mixers available (+) we were welcomed on arrival and then the staff in the bar and reataurant were lovely

room service menu looked a lot better so don't understand why wasn't offered in restaurant

the bed was really comfortable and the wifi to allow me to work was excellent

not expect to pay for second night as was with voucher gym broke down no electric had to keep asking for milk coffee tea etc not enough in the

great location, 5 minutes from m!. plenty of free parking. easy check in.

the food is delicious and even if you visit on your own you can sit in the restaurant or bar and enjoy the experience and chat to the staff

a good meal started the day, and when we returned after exploring, a couple of drinks at the bar meeting the locals and an excellent supper, finished the day off perfectly

lovely warm (from wood fire) bar with all ales well kept, music not too loud

the small bar had an open fire and extensive range of beers, largers and drinks

keith and lesley (and barney the dog) were fantastic hosts who went above and beyond

very hospitable bar and very friendly locals too
