the restaurant , bar , courtyard and garden were all lovely areas to sit and enjoy the excellent meals

breakfast was nice but didn't open until 8:30am and takes 40 minutes so it was a bit late

great bustard breakfast is very nice, like a full english, but without tomato or mushrooms, which would have made

our stay and the staff were incredibly helpful, from the manager to the young waitresses and bar staff, they were all a credit to the establishment

there's a private 1st floor area outside for smoking and the music from the bar gets turned down at a respectable time

the bar closed early midweek. however there were plenty of other bars with throwing distance

experience at the pelican started very well as i was given an early check in as i had a lot of luggage and the extra hour gave me time to go shopping in the town

i required early check in and the staff did a great job in getting the room ready early for me to attend a

car parking a bit limited when we first got there but it was a friday

had an upstairs and a double room downstairs,

clean, spacious modern room. plenty of parking. hot shower.

pub food was served, also very acceptable, and the bar has real ales

little difficult to find but lovely bar lady at affiliate pub in ringwood -fish inn- brilliantly assisted with instructions

peaceful place to stay with roaring fires in the bar area and armchairs

the location was amazing, such a beautiful drive up to the hotel. bar was great too.

bed was a bit uncomfortable and our room was quite noisy at night which made it difficult for our kids to sleep

fabulous food both breakfast & dinner & so relaxing in the bar with our dog

luckily the family with young kids upstairs bedded down earlier so the noise didn't continue and disturb us

camp bed mattress provided was derelict, we had to squeeze the kids into a (large) single bed

bit of noise from other rooms - though it's not really the hotel's fault if people let their kids run riot

the in room electronic menu was not working and remembering i had said i would be dining via room service she printed off a menu and walked it back to my room and took my order personally

very poor wifi and service charge for bar menu (only 50p which sort of makes it worse) (-)weak wifi connection (-)wifi speed in the room was a little slow and the swimming pool would benefit from some shade in the (-)wifi connection weak (-) wifi was very poor (-)wifi wasn't great (+) we worked from the lounge on the monday morning, the wifi was ok but struggled a little on video calls (-)wifi didn't reach room. (-)was no wifi in the room as we were in attic - appreciate it s an old building but i m sure some (-)was hard, wifi really poor and the room not as expected

the bar lounge was cosy and had a very relaxing feel to it, and the staff were very helpful and

we had drinks in the bar and an evening meal

service was pretty slow and room service breakfast consisted of cold toast we were really disappointed after the cost of our

location, parking 7 for 24hrs, spacious room with good views on balcony

this hotel but we couldn t find anything wrong lovely clean very nice staff and service good bar very close to town centre lots and lots of shops 5 minutes walk 6 minutes to port for cruise

gym and pool in particular were excellent, the room was spacious and light

room service menu could include children s options

were extremely helpful

use of gym and spa in cost was really good

to town centre 15-20mins bedroom suite fab quality breakfast facilities lovely restaurant and bar with roof terrence only mark down room service breakfast could have been serviced more hot

staff very efficient and friendly, i arrived early having requested an early check in and was not disappointed

had a room on the 4th floor and there was noise from the bar on the 6th, whilst this would not affect us returning, we would probably ask for a room on the

spa and pool facilities really good
