superb breakfast, and a bar just downstairs. excellent bathroom. very welcoming staff.

bar area was quaint but friendly

reception/ entrance is small bar filled with locals so many i mistook roger on then end of the bar for the landlord

atmosphere like being at home did t find the snug room off the bar till the morning so we had sat in the bar with our drinks the night before but was relaxing

- yes, there is a little noise from the bar below, but if you want, ear plugs are provided

the bar down stairs was great and whilst i didn't get any food the menu looked good enough

night - comfy bed, friendly staff, good downstairs bar with lots of space, upstairs rooms good clientele

the hotel has its own entrance right next to the hotels bar so is nice and private

most of all really liked the bar and the microbrewery

bar was great as were the cocktails

the bar area is great and the food was fantastic, especially the breakfast

have appreciated: a box of tissues in room; a common tap in the sink; anti-skid bathmat & grab bar in slippery shower

wonderful kitchen/living area with absolutely everything you could need

the suite had separate bathroom and kitchen and lounge area

throughout the apartment were modern features inc lighting, projector, superb wifi and mod cons in the kitchen

we were expected to cook on the aga which like all agas could not be switched off leaving the kitchen/sitting room and bedroom that had no separate door, uncomfortably warm

( loved watching the squirrels) there is plenty of parking off-road and a great location for bideford (-)my fault but i scraped my car against the wall parking it ! (+)excellent location for the big sheep, parking for the studio is great, peaceful location. (-)parking is a challenge, although there is only 5 rooms there is in reality on 2 proper parking (+)had the apartment with terrace which had its own parking space (+) great to have free and secure car parking (+) free parking (+)beautiful building, clean, simple and quiet room. safe parking. (+)were looked after so well in this lovely period b&b - plenty of parking and great location just out of (+) parking was also good
