no elevators, no complimentary breakfast, kitchen suite outdated, restaurant not open everyday

the fully stocked kitchenette was a nice surprise-though not mentioned on the website

sliding door not working. kitchen light switch not visible.8

no tea towel only 3 plates there were 4 of us, plug missing for kitchen sink had to use bathtub plug

pillows were directly resting on brick wall it was a nice large room but the table located in the kitchen was far too small to be

had to ask twice for bar soap and didn't change towels.

the included breakfast was alright but wouldn’t rave about it

a kettle and maybe a couple of bowls and cutlery to go with the microwave but i didn’t book a kitchenette so it’s not surprising

to accommodate early check in request which meant waiting in parking lot for hours after travelling for 24 hours

i loved the beds they were so comfortable and wonderful complementary breakfast.

the complimentary breakfast was basic: store bought muffins, oatmeal, bananas, apples, yogurt, hard boiled eggs,

staff were wonderful, they gave us a late check out and gave us a room with a nice view

the steak and honey mustard chicken were perfect and the nanaimo bar cheesecake was amazing

only suggestion would be add a few hours to the bar open times- maybe keep the bar open until midnight ( not the restaurant )

the bar only had bc beer and wine i think. no offense intended!

gym and spa were closed due to ongoing renovations

welcoming staff, clean pool and jacuzzi that was a perfect temperature

i have to say though the hotel is awesome, beautiful room and the pool/hot tub were very nice

the hotel lobby bar has really good drinks and the food is great

staff were friendly and accomodating. room was clean. provided laundry service

while the kitchenette in the room was nice to have they did not offer dish towels to wash the dishes and

one can control, walkable to downtown nanaimo in minutes, a breakfast/lunch restaurant off lobby, laundry service for a modest fee

tight and first come first served style, a bit of noise in our room since we were it seemed over laundry facility or something because our room shook constantly
