it was our first visit with the holiday inn group and we used the swimming pool and spa in the evening and

are great but evening meal and breakfast too late in times for a traveler ie kitchen closes at 9pm and only open

loved every second of it , breakfast bar and bowling was absolutely amazing!

the central location close to the start of many walks and excursions with facilities in the spa which is also

a shame the spa wasn't ready for opening but i knew that before my stay - i cant wait to visit again once the

spa is lovely, but unlikely many similar hotels who use the sauna as a point of differentiation,

the hotel was beautiful in a perfect location and i cannot recommend the spa enough it is a godsend

i had only one disappointment - the steam room in the spa wasn t working all days we have been staying and

style and comfort of the room, personalised parking space and the attention to detail

wifi connection is extremely poor and need to upgrade.

spa bath took ages to fill up

is if you are in a rush to get out, and want to use the spa bath, start filling early, it takes a little while

the bedroom was tired with flaking plaster the spa bath took forever to fill and would not turn on so this was

once the spa bath was filled, it was amazing and very relaxing. staff very friendly and helpful.

i didn't really need the four poster and spa bathroom but it was all i could get at the time

great location for the golf course

not really a dislike but we weren't expecting to have to order breakfast, we were expecting the usual buffet

the rooms were clean modern and bright and loved the balcony overlooking the golf course

the breakfast was excellent, i have never had poached eggs before that were this tasty

the swimming pool, spa , was great as well

spa pool was busy with not enough chairs or lounger around the pool. for the amount of people

spa could be a bit bigger for the number of guests who want to swim and use the spa facilities

couldn t find a way of getting to the spa through the hotel.

spa was closed because of covid, and on closer inspection this was indeed stated in booking

still not doing breakfast, and spa not open which would have made things perfect
