is the iconic hotel of buxton, there are many good places to stay but the spa makes this unique

the spa is outstanding - a thermal suite of indoor and outdoor pools, steam rooms and saunas, all

inside, when we got there we had been upgraded to a bigger room, it was beautiful, really spacious, had a balcony

loved the surrounding lake and walks and the spa was great my bed was comfortable and there was a bath as well

a room with a spa bath this time and the jets weren t clean and/or didn t seem to work

the small things make it easy, carpark great, gym facilities perfect for a morning workout, location to sheffield

sounded like trollies from laundry or kitchen being pushed around a lot

the room service menu is extensive and excellent value

boat did not have a toaster or microwave or wifi and as an overseas visitor it would have been handy

central location well equipped kitchen to make breakfast. double bed was comfy. comfy sofa

is no wifi and in today's world, we felt it should be available and up to the guests whether they want to

kitchen equipment dirty (cups, plates and cutlery were not clean)

included parking is right at the boat and directions to access are complete and simple

long queue for the drinks machine. didn t know it had a spa which i would ve made us of.

such a shame they don't have a swimming pool or spa facilities.
