we had a spa appointment and found out when we arrived that they weren't working
perfect spot in penafiel with spa facilities
we didn t use the spa or the pool
to pay extra to use spa and had to buy/wear swimming cap and strange sock type things
the spa should open longer hours of service since they offer amazing treatments

if teh spa worked - option to use the bar , which they have but non functional
and breakfast was not the most luxurious but i understand given the price it was very good quality
location is pretty and peaceful, there are lots of parking, the gym and sauna is nice

there was a varied and tasty breakfast and the bar was useful for use during the day

room service is very limited and starts like the restaurant at 8pm
no room service at weekends, however the staff helped with helping us to order uber eats

the spa is ok, but small, and nothing special, thus can hardly be recommended

cool side not warmed-up water which i think is essential as an option ( as they advertised is a spa and wellness
bath amenities are rather basic, lack of power outlets in the room, didn't see any sauna / spa facilities, nobody
safe easy parking in front of the hotel
the swimming pool was quite small but the water was in the right temperature which made swimming pleasant
