spa was very nice

the spa area is a delight

staff, spa was beautiful the treatments were lovely and catherine made us feel so relaxed and pampered

i said the spa needs to be made more comfortable

only things that require slight improvement are the spa facilities that are beginning to look a little dated

the fact that you have to prebook the spa and this is not mentioned

welcoming staff, food was good from the bar menu, and my better half had a massage at the spa which she said

great old hotel that's lost none of its old charm and a nice spa to unwind in.

only went for one night for the spa and it was booked up

paid for use of the spa and we really enjoyed the thermal journey

the spa bath was amazing

it difficult for keeping hair dry, but saying that it wasn't really a problem as i just used the spa bath

nice facilities with nice spacious rooms and bathrooms with nice bar area and dining area

and hard working, the restaurant was clean and the food was excellent, the swimming pool & spa was clean and

was spacious with a lovely view of the river

the pool, steam room and spa were well equipped and an added bonus along with the gardens and view of the lake

thing i would say is changing rooms at pool and spa could do with a rethink, maybe bigger, does the gym equipment

food was incredible and the spa was lovely

if l could criticise anything, we think the spa should have individual changing rooms

entrance - have to walk through the spa to enter reception for hotel

dont need go any where as it has everything in there even bar, restaurant, kids activity and swim spa more

close to the water and spa area lovely little porch to have a cup of tea on in

the beauty therapist was fully booked abit disappointment as it was a spa break

ours have already booked in this weekend and we ll definitely be back with our large family and kids

wifi a bit slow

parking is adjacent to the hotel and sufficient

one member of staff toilet was broken no security no information on breakfast time or check in no wifi code too

wifi should be available in the rooms not just the restaurant

we used the spa every day

everything the spa the food and staff were so friendly really peaceful location

the spa was excellent as well as it was exceptionally clean and everything worked unlike some spa

recommend deals that include the breakfast (which was lovely) but might be considered expensive if paid for

charged full price for breakfast when the kitchen was not operating and only had continental option

everything was not only sparkling clean, but organised and laid out like a 5 star resort

we didn t try the spa area or beauty this time, definitely next time, we cannot wait to come back
