did not realize at the time of booking that the price of spa was not included in the price of the stay

we liked a lot spa procedures

all started with the outstanding location of the douro palace hotel & spa, it's a 10 min (if that much) taxi

spa on saturday was very crowded.

the spa was under construction

one an old (but luxurious) stone b&b, plus next door, across the vineyard, a brand new modern spa hotel and

wish the spa was ready to use, but it was to open in a couple weeks - i am sure it will be great

the spa pool had recently opened and the water jets were not functioning yet.

the use of wood and natural materials truly make it a natural wellness and spa resort

the spa was wonderful

the spa was nice with great massage

the spa experience was great

spa was great, but the music was loud

the spa was poor. only steam room and sauna. need for a swimming cap even in the whirpool.

no kids allowed in the spa area, which makes for an even better relaxation time

this last point, because we never felt cold during our stay, neither in our room nor the common spaces

our stay here was amazing: the facilities include an outdoor and indoor pool, sauna, billiards and football

amazing therapist), the ping pong table, the pool table, there is also an outdoor playground for kids

lots of nice facilities, two pools, a sauna, a gym and a paddle tennis court and beautiful surroundings

great remote location with all facilities needed for a fabulous stay - also for our 3 kids (10,7,2 years old)

free electric bikes to enjoy, and the spa and pool were outstanding

loved the hotels own vinyard in the middle of the town, but an indoor spa would have been a great addition

we mainly chose the hotel for the spa (tempo), but it did not meet expectations: the jacuzzi beds were not

it is allowed to access the front of the hotel by driving on the pedestrian path; otherwise car parking is

the food at the restaurant was great and the massage at the spa was absolutely delightful

spa is average

it was winter so no swimming in outdoor pool but the sauna and spa were operating

although we didn't use the outdoor pool or spa facilities, we did check them out, and will definitely use them

there is a pool and a spa in the top floor

the pool is perfect and the hot tub was perfect for when it became a little crisp at night

the site is perfect, the infinity pool is splendid with a spectacular view over the douro valley

they offer a beautiful breakfast (what a nice touch) and the coffee is excellent

the spa area is very pleasant, as is the gym, which has good weight training machines

we were lucky and used the sauna in the middle of the day when the spa was quiet

spa area could be better; the pool could be warmer, with more jets, and it could have a jacuzzi

they reserve you the spa, so it feels like our personal spa for one hour

the staff, facilities and food - exceptional. the spa is just fabulous as was the wine tasting.

spa was perfect and included in the stay with the jacuzzi having a great view in front of the

unfortunately spa was closed due to covid restrictions so had no chance to experience it
