location, quiet building, friendly staff and wonderful spa services

spa at the monastety, is one of very few hotels that i've stayed in that has laminate flooring

in the old town centre of saint john's, it was a former monastery transformed into a hotel and spa treatment

was excellent, staff cleanliness, did not use the spa but did use the hot tubs and sauna which were clean and

quiet, amazing staff and a great restaurant the spa service was also excellent

pool area little outdated, but grand, nice little gym area

the gym and pool area are very tired and need an upgrade

presentation of the swimming pool & gym could also be improved

room service was not offered from noon until 5 pm

the facilities were top-notch, the atmosphere was great, and the spa was exceptional

the spa was exceptional and brand new

we didn't get to use the pool or spa but the spaces were beautiful

exceptional location for downtown, food was great, pool and spa amenities were

great location (very close to many restaurants, pubs, ), very nice and helpful staff, modern gym and swimming

the wifi worked well (we re watching the us open)

wifi cut out a few times when i was working (trip was mostly leisure, with some work in the mix)

would have also been nice to have some written information in the room such as the wifi password and restaurant

bar & restaurant downstairs but room very quiet with big view window on third floor

i would have loved a menu for the room service.

executive king with a spa bath in the room

jacuzzi, spa shower, heated floors, fireplace, and bed

bathrooms and spa tub were beautiful

only compliant is that i didn't book the king suite, the spa tub in the queen room was a little smaller than

didn t use the spa tub, but it was a nice touch

we had paid for a spa tub, there was one but it did not work

out time was at 10 , a later time would be nice & we could only fill the spa bath half way then the water went

the spa tub was very small i expect the mansion to be in better shape for a 5 star and not see cracks

major at all but if they are busy you may have an issue with parking as it is limited

parking for those who need it

bed was comfortable, room had a quirky window which was cool. bar staff were excellent.

the breakfast buffet was the best i've seen at a hotel in a long time, and the seafood chowder was

little girl loved the kids pool

close to trans canada highway. free laundry for guests. gas station and subway next door.

was a nice motel with fridge stove and all the kitchen essentials
