spa was very nice

the spa area is a delight

staff, spa was beautiful the treatments were lovely and catherine made us feel so relaxed and pampered

i said the spa needs to be made more comfortable

only things that require slight improvement are the spa facilities that are beginning to look a little dated

the fact that you have to prebook the spa and this is not mentioned

welcoming staff, food was good from the bar menu, and my better half had a massage at the spa which she said

great old hotel that's lost none of its old charm and a nice spa to unwind in.

only went for one night for the spa and it was booked up

paid for use of the spa and we really enjoyed the thermal journey

it difficult for keeping hair dry, but saying that it wasn't really a problem as i just used the spa bath

the pool, steam room and spa were well equipped and an added bonus along with the gardens and view of the lake

thing i would say is changing rooms at pool and spa could do with a rethink, maybe bigger, does the gym equipment

food was incredible and the spa was lovely

the spa bath in my room was a pleasant surprise and just what i needed after cycling

one member of staff toilet was broken no security no information on breakfast time or check in no wifi code too

of free parking, clean good sized room, comfortable bed, hot powerful shower, decent evening meal and not

there is plenty of free parking

bonus was the bar downstairs

in practice, when we woke up the next morning, the bar was all locked up, there was no other reception area,

location for touring this part of the country, the bar food was lovely, and the quaint shops all around walking

the bar and food are excellent also

staff in the bar were lovely and helpful

the spa area is a bit small but otherwise ok

we were given information about the spa area and the restaurant

we visited the spa at their sister hotel and had a relaxing time

we made use of the sandpiper spa facilities at the lancaster hotel (sister hotel) on the afternoon of sat 8th

spa facilities were at another hotel which without transport was difficult

no hot tub, sauna or other spa facilities. this is the only reason why we wouldn t return.

although spa treatments could be had at the hotel there was

wish i'd had more time to use spa facilities. x

when you walked in the decor was beautiful and it had a spa feel

state of hotel last time any money spent on it properly in 1980s very dated decor spa bath blew dirt out when

the room had a 4-poster bed, en-suite and a spa bath, with complimentary toiletries and drinks

location ok parking good. the staff were helpful.

what encouraged us to stay there was the location-however the very intermittent and challenging wifi were a big

breakfast bar area and lounge were excellent and the dining room was lovely with a spectacular

maybe the pool and spa could do with a refurb..
