(+)unique decor bar and lounge area cosy being able to eat simple meal when one guest was unwell was (-) whilst all the cafes around the hotel shut at aroung 8pm , one paricular bar nearby was open till about 1am & had very loud music & lots of people shouting/ talking which (-) the room was on the ground floor, right on the road and it was very noisy from traffic and the bar across the street (+)friendly and special thanks to the lovely waitress who fixed us a drink and a cheesplatter in the bar after our long car trip before returning home (-)breakfast too expensive, so we had it in a bar outside for exactly half of the price

the restaurant is very nice in the property, there is a loft as wellend a convenient parking

motorcyclists my wife and were a little disconcerted by the gravel drive and lack of hardstanding parking, but sometimes you have to make do

for those less confident, there is plenty of on street parking within a stones throw of the hotel
