staff was quite difficult to get a hold of by phone, even once on the property: bar service, room service, front desk, but once you do get a hold of someone, they are extremely attentive and

spite there being 4 members of staff in reception when went searching 2 minutes

the room service menu was very limited, and all the reception staff seemed quite young

no towels in room - no response to calls to reception or room service

breakfast was one of the best we've had in portugal
