(-) breakfast coffee from a machine was not good (+) breakfast with all you need for another day visiting the beautiful village of caen and the sad (+) breakfast included with huge choice (-)layout of the breakfast facilities was spread around the restaurant, which we found confusing, otherwise a very (+)cup of tea at breakfast was very difficult and complicated (+) very good selection for breakfast even though it was only 6am

one struggle was the wifi

we had a family room which had a loft with two single beds for the kids upstairs

no bar but there are plenty within a stones throw

it was very clean and had all we needed including an excellent shower, great wifi and cooking facilities although we did not use these other than the kettle

lovely garden with a fire-pit and cracking view of the church sufficient kitchen equipment and living room to entertain guests

weren't any kitchen tea towels or dish cloths

then fitted out with a very stylish modern bathroom and kitchen area

we loved the outer porch and the large kitchen/sitting area
