and then the kitchen would send out small terrines of hot eggs and sausage - and for the kids, the famous egg custard tarts

dinner at reasonable price, a very nice property with just seven rooms, an outdoor swimming pool and extensive grounds with sheep grazing -- very bucolic but also close to the city of chaves

(incidentally, my teens were thrilled with the good wifi (+)the host, the beauty of the house and grounds, the lovely dinner, the great value for money, good wifi, excellent breakfast

the staff is super kind and helpful! great breakfast and dinners and comfortable rooms.
