hotel with fantastic pool and health spa facilities

thorns resort is a great venue having an indoor pool, spa, extensive gym for free use by guests, and a good restaurant and golf course with plenty

we were unsure if you had access to the pool/spa when we arrive as we were not inform

the noisy pool, aquafit style classes this is suppose to be a relaxing space.

i used the pool which was lovely and quiet

for me, the spa facilities and outdoor pool really topped the list, indoors and outdoors they created a beautiful environment to enjoy and

swimming pool is olympic size and loved the improvements

beautiful weather meant we could relax outside on the terrace sun loungers after a dip in the pool

pool with steam room and sauna are fantastic with a lovely terrace out the back

the pool was a bit cold.

fine spa was beautiful, clean and big pool

parking is terrible and often you have to park out in a rough old piece of field opposite

parking was easy, the staff were all very helpful and friendly

we really enjoyed the pool and spa too

there was an excellent choice for breakfast and delicious food

pool and jacuzzi sauna and steam room were great after a long journey

pool was great but unfortunately the cleanliness of the changing area wasn't good

full disclosure - am a member of the pool club, but have never stayed at the hotel before

was irritating having to switch room keys for the gym and pool keys

(+)for families with kids, our 4-months old was loved by everyone in the hotel, could swim in the pool for the first time (-)the pool area has a bit of a municipal pool feel about it. (+)the kids' swimming pool is brilliant (+) sharkies pool is probably one of the best kids pool we ve been to, all very thought through (+)love playing in the swimming pool and game room (+)very kid friendly! excellent pool and nice restaurant/bar. (+) really loved the swimming pool as did the kids and enjoyed very nice massages (+) i wish i could remember everyone's names, but mehdi at the reception, faye at sharkie's pool and sangeeta, who brought some of our meals, have all treated us with so much kindness i feel

room service food did not meet our expectations

amazing attentive staff and great with children. breakfast buffet was brilliant, wide choice.

the newly refurbished bar downstairs is cosy and elegant at the same time - loved the ambiance.

com it says you have acess to swimming pool but wheni went on the harbour website direct it says you have to book and pay

the pool, sauna steam room were all in good working order and regularly checked upon by staff

the cold plunge pool was closed and the jacuzzi wasn t very

handy having the spa for pool and beauty treatments

the whole hotel looked amazing but sadly our stay was so brief we were unable to make use of the pool or bar

gym pool and other facilities on ground floor very

modern and clean with great pool facilities
