only 10 minutes away are vök baths, in my opinion the best fancy hot pool experience in iceland
the kitchen is well equipped and the staff are friendly
being in a horse farm was nice for the kids as well
we had plenty of space, fully equiped kitchen and even hot tub available
large kitchen and 2 bathrooms

on some of the reviews i thought this hotel had a pool - it does not
to reception and hence too noisy (especially hotel staff loudly chatting in the morning) swimming pool was closed, no notice was given (though we were kindly offered to access spa
arrived quite late after a long day of driving, and so didn't get to make use of the pool/hot tub as everything was closed when we arrived
gym and pool were closed
pool out of commission and appeared to be that way for a while
