we also used the spa facilities (pool and sauna) and both were lovely and you do need to pre-book to avoid disappointment (+) we had hammam ( steam room) and relaxed in the pool every afternoon (+)hotel has everything you need its own car park , spa , swimming pool , food is excellent , staff are all helpful and making your stay very relaxing (-)pool was shut due to covid-19 restrictions which was not ideal but completely understandable (+)great location. comfortable bed. swimming pool and spa on site. beautiful old cotswolds building with wonderful gardens at the rear leading to the spa and parking area

bar staff in the cocktail area kept disappearing when we wanted a drink, so we missed last orders

just the breakfast room and breakfast itself was a special experience

we enjoyed the spa however the pool and jacuzzi weren t warm at all and so not that pleasant to go in

we enjoyed a comfortable room, complimentary use of excellent spa facilities (swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room), delicious dinner and breakfast with excellent service and in (+)everything about hotel was fabulous, the food, the staff, the grounds, the pool, the room! (+) beautiful pool area (+) enjoyed walking round the grounds and made good use of the pool area, which was small but very quiet, so suited us (-)access to the swimming pool (+) the food, wines, pool ambiance (+) we made use of the pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room and explore the grounds after a wonderful breakfast (+) swimming pool (+)amazing grounds, pool and dining areas packed with history and intrigue! (+) swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi facilities were lovely to use

guests throughout the night so they gave us complimentary scones and tea the following day, and a late check out

bar tender made my husband some lovely cocktails which he said were 10/10 we then opted for some room service which was lovely and i must say overall the prices for food is really good value
