to two of the best beaches on kauai (one literally on either side of the hotel), has a lovely pool and a great restaurant and is much, much smaller than the mega-resorts like the hyatt and (-)got to be at the pool at the right time to secure a lounge chair (-)poolside drinks were a little pricey. (+)fantastic hotel. friendly staff. terrific restaurant. right on the beach and a great pool. (+) also enjoyed the food and the sundowner drinks at the pool and fire pit (+) the pool was great and it was fun hanging out at the outdoor bar (+) it was cute, great location, clean pool, best pool bar with the best mai tai on the island and the hut that supplies all the equipment (+) pool food service was wonderful (+) the grounds are low key with a relaxing hot tub and perfect sized pool (+)beautiful setting, accessible pool, hot tub, friendly helpful staff.

the restaurant and bar menu are quite average for what you re paying and their mai tai hour only lasts 15

manicured landscapes and surf instruction were great, day room for late check out

we didn t have a chance to eat at either tidepools or the atevenson library, so can t comment on those, but i was surprised by the overall lack

the bed was a little stiff the bathrooms were somewhat not clean by the pool area

pool is huge, very clean, close to the beach and there’s some stores like ray ban

fantastic staff, restaurants, and pool area. couldn't ask for a better, more relaxing stay

pools are by far the highlight of this hotel

room was exceptionally spacious and beautiful, pool was outstanding my favorite part was the cabana

we like the pool area and the restaurant has a wonderful buffet for half the price of other hotels

pool: the 2 pools both depth ranged from 3 to 6 feet, a little cold at night, but still tolerable
