to two of the best beaches on kauai (one literally on either side of the hotel), has a lovely pool and a great restaurant and is much, much smaller than the mega-resorts like the hyatt and (-)got to be at the pool at the right time to secure a lounge chair (-)poolside drinks were a little pricey.
