thorns resort is a great venue having an indoor pool, spa, extensive gym for free use by guests, and a good restaurant and golf course with plenty

we were unsure if you had access to the pool/spa when we arrive as we were not inform

the noisy pool, aquafit style classes this is suppose to be a relaxing space.

i used the pool which was lovely and quiet

for me, the spa facilities and outdoor pool really topped the list, indoors and outdoors they created a beautiful environment to enjoy and

swimming pool is olympic size and loved the improvements

beautiful weather meant we could relax outside on the terrace sun loungers after a dip in the pool

pool with steam room and sauna are fantastic with a lovely terrace out the back

the spa facilities first rate most of all the atmosphere of warm calm dispels, stress and worry

the room had a window that looked directly onto the parking lot, leaving us with zero privacy or decent views

golf , helicopter pad , spa , swimming pool - inside and outside , ev chargers - plenty of type 2 and of course, peace, seclusion and relaxation guaranteed

and the well presented historic building offers a warm welcome as you pull into their ample parking area

food was fantastic. rooms beautiful standard and clean. ample car parking and great wifi

the spa facilities were also great, 2 of us had the shoulder/neck/back massage and also used the pool

full disclosure - am a member of the pool club, but have never stayed at the hotel before

layout is a little confusing initially, the pool and spa area feels more functional than luxurious, but overall there is not much to not

(+)for families with kids, our 4-months old was loved by everyone in the hotel, could swim in the pool for the first time (-)the pool area has a bit of a municipal pool feel about it. (+)the kids' swimming pool is brilliant (+) sharkies pool is probably one of the best kids pool we ve been to, all very thought through (+)love playing in the swimming pool and game room (+)very kid friendly! excellent pool and nice restaurant/bar. (+) really loved the swimming pool as did the kids and enjoyed very nice massages (+) i wish i could remember everyone's names, but mehdi at the reception, faye at sharkie's pool and sangeeta, who brought some of our meals, have all treated us with so much kindness i feel

the cold plunge pool was closed and the jacuzzi wasn t very

the selection of gin was fantastic and the champagne pool was beautiful!

it was dirty, far too many people were there and i still had to pay full price even though the pool was closed
