weekend was fabulous all staff amazing and in particular the chef steve food in the evening and breakfast was amazing and loved he came out of the kitchen to speak to guests in the hotel

the bar area was spartan and needed to be more welcoming with an open fire and comfy seating

it's food stands out, always offering a choice between an extensive bar-menu in the bar or a main restaurant that has c

combines country inn rustic charm and high quality accommodation, an excellent restaurant and bar which delivers both relaxation and a superb customer experience

was a limited bar menu (which was fine for us)

wee bbq hut / firepit among the cabins on the grounds, lovely addition after spending time in the bar & living room

cosy bar area, friendly staff and the food was fantastic

dinner menu on expensive side and would have preferred a lighter bar menu option in the evening which was not

the bar area is very small but cosy but if the place is at full capacity this could be over crowded

would be good if bar menu was extended/available early evening

warning that pool facilities would not be available

the only gripe might be that the lockers in the swimming pool do not lock either without money or £1 inserted

have coins available for the pool table as we are a card only couple and don't carry cash so limited our fun at night as there

the spa/pool also not very good

who partake with large range to sample ( i cant drink the stuff myself ) we never got to use the pool and facilities this trip but did take look and they have received same upgrade as rest of

were extremely helpful and quick to communicate with my request for an early check in

we had to leave at 6:00am the following morning and the cook had a full scottish breakfast cooked for us before we had to set off

breakfast, beautiful evening meal and the view from our bedroom was stunning, good selection of

i look forwards to coming back for non-work related holiday with my husband and kids

we never used the pool, however will definitely use it the next time we go back

great views, loads of equipment, all new and clean, 3 bathrooms, swimming pool for a rainy day, pool table and cinema in the evenings

and the hotel pool was just what you needed after full day of travel and

pool was out of use for the first few days due to a maintenance issue with the pools heating

pool was unfortunately broken during our visit and the bed was slightly too firm for us, but that

facilities were great, swimming pool brilliant and the surroundings were amazing
