the spa was very relaxing, including sauna, aromatherapy room and bubble pool

i would of liked a swimming pool .

tarn which is a fabulous hike with breathtaking views once you get to the top as well as a plunge pool on the way up

the small spa was excellent and was perfectly positioned with great views from the hydrotherapy pool to the fells and gardens from the seated outdoor area

3 couples inside , a woman was saying to her friends about women only spas and if we went in the pool or steam/sauna she would move so made my partner feel uncomfortable

what was an extra bonus was that the hotel had its own swimming pool

only complaint was the steps leading down to the pool were very dangerous and slippy at the sister hotel

prime location and really liked being able to use pool and spa in the sister

plus the use of pool and sauna in sister hotel was a nice addition after my hikes

to use sister hotel for pool usage which was ok

the sister hotel, 5 minutes walk away, has an excellent swimming pool that we were able to use

they had staff on at the little little cafe by the pool to get drinks and snacks

the room was great and the swimming pool made the stay even better

1 fault but otherwise excellent - good room - nice staff - goof food with lovely breakfast - gluten free

perhaps reposition the sign in desk away from the bar and main thoroughfare.
