there is a large wading pool in the spa tha’ts probably supposed to be heated but it was not

the spa in the lower level had what looked like sand or dirt in a large area of the cold pool

you can walk to the swimming pool and around to enjoy the views

to bogarnes, its fine settlement center restaurant and the municipal pool

luxury warm pool and sauna, breakfast was delicious (we stayed in 20 hotels throughout iceland and this one was indeed one of the best) and the pool was very hot, as it should be (+) great outdoor hot pool with sauna and changing room (-)room was small and water smells especially bad (to be expected from geothermal pool) (-)the hot tub was not working, we were told because of the temperature, but we visited the local pool a few minutes away, which was (+)really nice and we could use the common area to have our dinner, also the complementary hot water pool and the sauna were really (+) we also made use of the spa pool on site, which had a great temperature and was very clean (-)outside pool didn't work. (-)lack of maintenance, pool for cabins (+) great location: nearby ring road, supermarkets/ gas stations/ restaurants, local swimming pool and good starting point to explore snaefellsnes

on the route1 it was easy to get to and from despite the weather and enabled us to visit hot pools in akranes and swimming pool in borgarnes all im the interludes in the storms

check-in, great room for three people, loved the hot pool and the surroundings

wifi is a good bonus for planning and getting info re covid etc

wifi wasn't the strongest, so we used our tablet from our car as a wifi hotspot in the room

absolutely fabulous, amazing view from the restaurant and the surrounding, great value, including breakfast and the restaurant for dinner is great

and little omelettes on the breakfast bar was a nice treat

breakfast was tasty, the staff was super helpful, the property was fun with a full kitchen to use

our kids enjoyed the walking trails behind the cottages as well as the playground

we had a very nice view, the people were lovely, it was our best breakfast :) just a great place

the restaurant had the best food we ate during our entire holiday, massive breakfast spread

hotel: you will find yourself lost in an old path in the woods, with abandoned constructions for kids, that makes the place look like a fairytale
