the bretton arms inn is much better for couples than the main hotel because it's quieter (less kids), and you have access to all the main hotel facilities, which is an easy 3 minute walk

and bar were closed during covid so that took away from the experience of an otherwise very nice inn

the amenities and people in the spa were extraordinary

the spa is nice but i was extremely annoyed to find a surcharge added to bills that didn’t go

was convenient, location has amazing mountain views, outdoor heated pool in -17° wind chill, spa (but book early to get what services you want), skiing, history tour was awesome

no coffee maker in my room and no room service

so does the cost to play golf

about this hotel, its like walking through the history, a lot of amenities like swimming pool, fire pit to make s mores, fireplaces, chess tables on every other floor

and my favorite part of the property was the outdoor heated pool

the kids loved the pool overall will recommend and come

rooms are very spacious and clean, very kids friendly with playground pool and access to the river

wonderful location next to the river where you could swim and also nice grounds to picnic and let kids play

the pool was awesome and we also swam in the saco river directly behind the property

very clean, very quiet, river right behind it, nice little pool, not crowded, and very well maintained

drinks at the pool bar were a little pricey

valet parking

if you want spa items be sure to include it in booking

loads of facilities. bar staff were great and the food was fantastic.
