worn down conference hotel pool closed with no beforehand info

there was no access to the game room, and the pool was closed by 6pm

pool needs more umbrellas and if it is heated as they say, it was quite chilly

loved the landscaping, the pool, the lake, and all the expanse

white hart provisions is perfect for breakfast or lunch, and the tap room is great for dinner

menu in restaurant compared to bar although i understand they are training new staff at the moment

my husband took advantage of the breakfast and said it was very good

hotel is well situated in center of town with quaint, relaxed coffee shop with outdoor bar & lawn seating in evening

owner let me check in early and did my laundry for $5

location, being right on the lake with so many amenities, from lake activities, to saunas, to a pool and tennis court

clean, spacious, and comfortable and all inclusive, sauna, swimming pool, paddle boards, boats, tennis courts

we thoroughly enjoyed the amenities, including kayaking, the sauna, and the swimming pool

breakfast had a lot to offer, delicious coffee, made to order omelettes, to a french toast

all things to do were closed and took away from experience (spa, gym, ballroom, restaurant)

the breakfast is very good, rich and tasty

it was clean, in spite of being pet friendly, and served an exceptional continental breakfast

and did i mention there is no pet fee at all

no coffee makers very thin walls i could hear kids jumping around on and off the beds till 2 am , when they finally fell asleep a barking dog in

:) rhonda gave us complimentary s'mores kits for the kids to have around the firepit one night

rhonda, the innkeeper, was very welcoming and helpful, our kids loved the s'mores kit

breakfast was decent i hope that can improve

inside, the register in our room and the breakfast room was falling apart

you can even do laundry there if you’re staying for a longer period of time for a very reasonable cost

it was also a huge relief that they had laundry on site because it was raining very hard

no quarters or detergent even though they offered laundry

unique building and decoration. good bar and restaurant on site. good location.

staff are lovely, spa is amazing

the great room at the spa building is not to be missed

when we arrived, we were told the outdoor pool is under construction

room service food is hit or miss

that full room service could be accommodated instead of using take out containers and single use cutlery

the bar and bar staff were fantastic

also really enjoyed the bar and restaurant

a bit, but the soap bar sticks to the flat-bottomed soap dish, and the duvet is very heavy

the hotel bar could have more of a variety of drink options

sons provided us with excellent service, comfortable beds, extra touches like interesting mini bar, contemporary design, great fireplace in room, large rooms, great amenities, close to the train

to have a full-size kitchen--but if you want plates, bowls, silverware or any other kitchen wares, you have to ask for

had a very nice stay. bed was very comfortable. liked having the living area and kitchen.

suite included a large kitchen of no interest to us, a bedroom barely large enough for a king size bed

well-appointed, a kitchen that is larger than my own home, excellent staff, great location.
