stayed in grug (welsh for heather) the room is a good size for 2 adults and 2 labradors

great clean lines the food consists of simple but beautiful cooked simples dishes sitting at the bar i feel like i m at home

the atmosphere is extremely laid back and relaxed, so much so that steve let me hop behind the bar to pour myself drinks when i wanted them and we sorted the tab out in the morning

the car parking was good but it was down very narrow roads.

some meat available with the breakfast would be nice :)

me and my kids enjoyed staying and definitely will be back again. staff were very friendly.

the staff were excellent throughout, especially the people at reception although breakfast was excellent and again very efficient

due to our late check in we didn't bother asking for extra as wed bought own towels and kids just wanted to get to

the breakfast and early check in that they approved

the rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast the next morning had lots of choice and the food well cooked

the room is everything you need for a short stop over and the bar has a very nice pint of bitter

we noticed there are two ev chargers, though we did not use them, and we appreciated that parking was included

the receptionist was quite rude and unfriendly with her abrupt answers when asked for help with wifi and she smelled strongly of smoke which i find very offensive

didn't get any traffic noise as the rooms are at the back and face away from the road, plenty of parking and working electric chargers

unfortunately the last evening for dinner i was sat at a table in the bar, near the toilets and the main entrance

had to wait a long time at the bar to settle the bill for our evening meal; otherwise nothing not to like

my husband thought the bar prices very expensive but appreciate that hotels understandably have a lot of overheads

we had a table set up in the lounge bar so we could have the dogs with us which worked well

the breakfast and dinner were so nice too and the home made marmalade the bedtime ever

rooms a bit dated, thin walls, parking a challenge when wedding are on.
