booked on day i arrival due power outage at carnoustie golf and spa hotel,due storm

twin beds were like kids singles

location,booked the property for the golf at carnoustie,good scottish breakfast every morning which set us up for the day

helpful assisting with early check in and charging our ebikes, went the extra mile

friendly staff, who were great with kids and a great breakfast

it came with toilet roll, washing up liquid, kitchen roll

good facilties in the kitchen

s very tired, the kitchen needs an overhaul, fridge (with no freezer compartment), missing shelves, veg tray

the kitchen has all the tools you need and plenty of tea,coffee and sugar

cleaning of the kitchen area should have been more thorough

liked the character of the building, the friendly atmosphere , the good food

wifi continually either wouldn t connect or instantly kicked us off

tea, coffee, water (still & sparkling), trouser press, iron & board, tv, free wifi (-)wifi! i couldn't log in on the first try, my ipad then locked me out. (-)wifi was on the slow side and seemed to support only one device per password (-)shower lacked power and was cold. wifi was very slow and kept dropping. (+) wifi worked well (-)was at the far end of the hotel so the wifi was a bit poor, and i was also located in front of the parking so a lot of noise throughout (-)wifi in my room, could not see the ssid. (-)slow wifi, the dinner menu was very dated, vegetables were really overcooked and covered in (-)wifi was not strong enough in our room.

we had dinner in the bar as had our german shepherd with us the food and service was fantastic

parking, clean and fabulous food both evening meal and breakfast

the location. very close to the town centre, golf course and sea front

husband was disappointed in the choice of draught beers available in the bar but it was a minor problem

lovely and clean, breakfast excellent, nice big comfy beds and very friendly host. fantastic.

we will definitely return to play some of the many super golf courses nearby

there s a parking spot for the guests behind the hotel, it is easy to reach and there are wonderful beaches

room was on the second floor which meant the noise from the bar wasn't discernible, there is free parking on site, and the hotel was very easy to find

was very helpful and kind, the rooms were clean, there are many vegan option on the menu and the bar was pretty nice too

we were delighted how late the bar stayed open it was the ideal location for a family event

tiles in shower cracked, broken lightbulb and no room service menu

fantastic location close to town and the beach and golf

only issue we had was we were not told about the mini bar which had the milk for tea and coffee in it

mulled wine in bar wasn t very warm. room was too hot to sleep.

a golfer, having breakfast overlooking the 18th fairway is magical

if there were gym facilities, however, would have made it an excellent choice

advertised closer to golf course than actually is!

were comfy, good car park with petrol station right next door, on the ring road so easy access

(the fresh eggs from the hens in the kitchen gardens were much appreciated) we also appreciated the upgraded room we were given

14 is next to flat roof that has kitchen extractors going until late evening and then again from 06

long wait for breakfast, beds need updates

the dining room and bar were lovely and the small living room areas were very nice

the bar area felt dated and all a bit sad. great chap behind the bar though.

the kitchen was about to close but cook was willing to stay longer so that we could still enjoy a very

apartment with spacious lounge, kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms located just opposite the inn itself

e 8) thinks this is the best hotel in the uk and both my kids get so excited when they know we are stopping here

property were very helpful as we asked for an early check in time, they obliged and were very helpful

our dog was allowed to join us in the lounge bar which made our stay a lot easier

love what it has inside a little sports bar and the food is amazing i stayed here before with work and the room above the pub was clean and

relaxing break no hustle bustle breakfast and dinner very good games room lounge and bar pricewise

and they had laundry service

breakfast was outstanding!! staff was really friendly and helpful. bar was fully stocked.
