the hotel is small and has a quite big spa area for that size (steam bath and sauna) (+) they even let us shower and use the spa way passed our check out time which facilitated things for travelling to galicia next (+) everything was nice, the staff, the spa facilities, the rooms, the restaurant, drinks, food , not to mention, super pet friendly (+)a fantastic hotel, very kind staff, beautiful rooms, delicious breakfast & great restaurant, nice spa & pool, relaxing massages in the gardens (+) price/quality ratio of the food/wines/spa is also very good (+) finally, the spa is beautiful and super relaxing

it was quiet and peaceful with a lovely pool and only 15 mins from downtown porto

the views from the breakfast room (the orangerie) are superb; dick's bar provides an excellent variety of wines for all budgets and the staff are really knowledgeable

infinity pool both indoor and outdoor was amazing i also used the gym and it was super clean

housekeeping standards not consistent service at dicks bar slow and not that attentive room service menu too

was some confusion over the breakfast service, but the staff really tried very hard to serve us well

for family with 2 kids (6yr olds) who enjoyed their bunk beds & dual showers

we didn t have a drink in the bar area, but it is amazing (where they serve breakfast) (+) decorating, ambience, staff, breakfast, a unique niche, use of dining area with bar and ability to play evening board games, safety, quiet we really appreciated their (-)were that there was no clothes iron available and they charged for the packets of tea in the mini bar (drinks / snacks of course, but teabags (+)all so friendly, helpful, and incredible hard workers (room was always clean with fresh water and bar service was top notch) - i can't say enough about how they pampered us (+) the on-site restaurant and bar offers delicious drinks and food (-)no fridge in the room although staff very obliging put some champagne in the bar fridge for us (+) the breakfast was lovely and set in their chic bar downstairs
