i had dinner and breakfast and both were really good
louts who were there for a wedding the next day acting like football hooligans in the bar with kids present, ain't fun
the breakfast was lovely and very good value
staff, view from room and great food. plus ( 9 hole golf course).
we stayed at christmas and the staff went the extra mile to make it magical for the kids

fridge could do with a mini bar being
lovely area , amazing breakfast, comfy room
personally prefer buffet breakfast but the breakfast was good.

the milk for our tea was off and we told the bar staff while the waitress was busy but this wasn't communicated to her at all

had a family room with 2 bedrooms, kitchen, lounge and small dining room
no bar facility

stayed at smithaleigh for many years now but didn’t realise they had taken the bar and restaurant away and made them into flats so no breakfast or evening

a few more kitchen accessories would have been helpful ,
and mentioned that the accompanying orange sauce was made with alcohol but she checked with the kitchen the sauce was adapted to be made without alcohol (and still tasted very nice)
was great to get the kids off their phones
was left on over night, i think it was the extractor fan for the kitchen, which our family room was above
enjoyed the bar and a family meal

there is an adequate gym in the hotel and a spa pool with kids allowed in the pool all day
our room (161) had a lovely, big balcony but it was almost directly above the outside bar area and i can imagine that there could be a certain amount of noise disturbance by
