location for us was great and the free parking made it easy too

i was given a card which said wifi was only available in public areas which was not the case

and gastropub below (we didn't get to try the food but had drinks the first night outside - the bar was lovely and the barstaff were very friendly) situated in a beautiful, typical english (+) really nice room, staff very friendly & helpful, locals in the bar welcoming and the food was great, highly recommend this little gem (-)we had to shut the window as smokers from the bar were talking/smoking outside (-)sun opening times, we arrived at 7pm hoping for a meal but had already stopped cooking and the bar closed at 9 (+)the bar staff on arrival was very good and welcoming (-)being served in the evenings which is not ideal, i was allowed to order a delivery and eat in the bar which was fine (+) sonia deserves a mention for warm check in and she worked the bar and served food cleared tables on her own on a busy friday night like superwoman on a good day (+) staying at the bar and ball inn is like stepping into a true village pub and being privileges to being included
