beautiful historic property , charming location and the staff, and bar were wonderful

there was a nice bar and restaurant but as in so many hotels in the us, it was simply too cold to sit inside

glass of wine upon my arrival and the breakfast spread was small but perfect

although we didn’t use the outdoor facilities including a pool lm sure in the spring and summer it will be a bonus

i loved using the bikes and having breakfast available all morning

did not realize the room had a kitchen, it was an apartment layout, very nice and big

the pool is so nice that the kids loved it almost as much as the ocean

spent several slow mornings drinking coffee on the deck (coffee pot and other kitchen amenities provided, coffee bought at a nearby iga store)

the rooms are over a bar, but that is not the real problem since the sound is muffled and the bar closes at midnight

there is a bar & grill located directly under the hotel called the rod & reel, or bud's pub, which opens

the walls were very thin and the music from the bar was extremely loud all night

there is enough parking and good location with stop and shop across the street and great restaurants not too far

liked the size of the grounds. parking. ease of checking in and out. front desk seemed friendly.

we loved going to the beach and then coming back to go in the pool and grill seafood and burgers on the grills at night

when we returned to the parking lot after dark there were no lights on
