we stayed on the gold floor, which made our stay very comfortable - it includes breakfast, a cocktail hour which can serve as a light supper, and a dedicated concierge

there are lots of things to do nice places to go and eat, beautiful swimming pool we love to lagoon pools when we return to our room ot was always canceled

we had the top floor room in the palace tower looking towards mauna kea and the golf course

the pool didn’t feel as clean, the beach chairs could be better/nicer the hotel could do more

grounds and the beach were absolutely gorgeous; pools were great for the kids - they also liked the water slide; room itself was nice and beds were comfortable enough;

positive point : the café (managed independently from the hotel) and the gym

they allowed us to keep our room a few extra hours beyond check out because we were waiting for a spa appointment

closer to golf courses

didn't like how dirty the pool was, but then again it was very windy

activity pool needed to be skimmed. it was not clean.

(+)the night view at outdoor grill bar was awesome (+)that we can hang out at pool bar while kids played in pool (+) we loved the bar and had great a great waitress one day (-)pool bar and restaurant was the only place to eat and had a limited menu and pricey (+) close to bars and restaurants, you can walk (+)the servers in the restaurant and bar went above and beyond in their service.

fiancé and i stayed at the outrigger kona resort & spa at keauhou bay and had a great experience

laundry service was limited to machines that were working on only a few floors (self serve)

a large pool that has waterfalls, a sandy kid's pool, water that shoots out from the ground for kids, and water slide

also there no only one laundry room with only one washing machine which was constantly being using by the building

the hotel is a little dated. the bathrooms are old and the laundry room was filthy.
