i was a bit concerned that the bedroom over the pub bar might be noisy, but it wasn't - we slept well in a very comfy

effort to keep all decor in theme and it works really well all the way through from the bar restaurant to the rooms

in room 14 there is a great space and even has an small kitchen but it could be even better if they could add an small fridge to it

stayed at smithaleigh for many years now but didn’t realise they had taken the bar and restaurant away and made them into flats so no breakfast or evening

had a family room with 2 bedrooms, kitchen, lounge and small dining room

no evening food perhaps i should have check but last time i stayed they had bar and food on

the kitchen has tea and coffee facilities and full kitchen utensils

it was comfortable, with free wifi

although we did not eat in the bar as we had already arranged to meet friends, what we saw looked really lovely

the water pressure wasn t great and the wifi didn t work 2/3 of the time we were there.

finally, the tv is a smart tv but doesn't connect to the wifi
