and mauna kea mountain, very accommodating staff, excellent breakfast at mainland prices, nice pool

staff in the bar was such a joy

even used the laundry to wash some clothes before heading back to oahu

laundry machines did not work properly and connecting a device (computer or roku) to the tv was

centrally located, beautiful ocean view room, gym supplies(free weights, kettlebells) are good cons: too many stray cats in parking area $5 to

welcome with cookies for the kids

everything: location, facilities, nature. great open area on the water. pool was excellent

i thought i had a full kitchenette and a sitting area/couch in the room when it was a standard size room with a small

good amenity if we golfed)

restaurant lacked kids meals despite lots of families

not sure if the pool was open or not, seemed they were working on it

had a lovely room with a balcony that overlooked the pool and we could see the sea

parking was difficult.

it also had free parking and a kitchenette

pool was closed.

the laundry is very efficient and the staff very helpfull

nice room. nice pool. very nice small gym. very friendly staff

no in room coffee maker, no mini bar or room service

left over bar of soap in the shower and lots of hair in the corners

turned on when we got there so we had to give it time to cool before use - and being a tiny bar fridge the freezer portion was largely useless even for just freezing ice packs

easy breezy walk down to the waterfall+pool

liked swimming in the waterfall pool on the property

the waterfall and the pool are amazing, with a nice round walking path

beautiful spot. loved swimmers in the pool.

the activities and walking paths going down to the waterfall pool make this venue paradise

we would have rented both 2-bedroom suites which would have given us access to the upper kitchen and living room

great amenities, the laundry room of stuff to borrow was great - the cool box was really useful on day trips

full kitchen, so we could easily make our own breakfasts and get out early

we weren't given any information about the use of the spa or the included breakfast which i am assuming makes up most of the nightly cost

no clear explanation on how everything works (e.g. spa, gym etc). only on request.

the open concept spa allows you to really be immersed in nature

the spa & infrared light sauna is just what we needed

you can use sauna, whirlpool, gym (quite old and rusty), take part in yoga classes, bee dances and other classes and experiences

and i imagine s were much nicer than the park lodge however the lodge had a bar and restaurant which seemed pretty lively

our hot breakfast was a real treat

we enjoyed the family style breakfast and the great conversation

private bed and breakfast minutes away from volcanoes

cozy big room, and lots of fruit available for breakfast

breakfast was served even before 8am so we were able to eat before heading out to the park
