the rooms are beautifully decorated. the breakfast was yummy but too big of a portion to finish!

although there was a private function on the bar late on the evening of our stay, we could not hear any noise from our room on the 1st floor

accommodated a very early check in which was brilliant, as the visit was to attend a wedding

we stayed on two separate nights over the weekend, they facilitated an early check in for us which was super useful

bar and food availability closed a little early (monday night), although there is a chip shop,

the staff in the restaurant and bar were very helpful, as were the hotel reception staff, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit

2nd time for wedding again early check in which was perfect

i had evening dinner in the restaurant after a few drinks in a cosy bar and a gossip with locals who were very friendly

the late night bar staff was very curt made me feel very unwelcome

the balcony bar is great as you don't have to leave the hotel to have a great night

real gem of a 'guest house' excellent welcome, beautiful room, comforatble bed and great service/breakfast in the morning

our room had a beautiful free standing bath with a view and my kids adored the 4 poster bed which was extremely comfortable

kids would prefer better wifi coverage. we generally prefer firm beds.
