breakfast was excellent and all the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming

a welcome change from the more crowded areas of the lake district, and the hotel has ample parking

fantastic food, great pint (guinness) and dog friendly. parking very easy. would stay again!

we have eaten at the hotel many times both in the bar and restaurant but this is the first time we have stayed

selection of beers in the bar was a little restricted - so many hotels now do craft ales, but it does depend on

beautiful setting, very peaceful, comfortable bed and lovely breakfast.

there were a large number of laundry bags left in the hallway for around 2-3 days which obstructed the route

laundry and very difficult to manoeuvre ourselves and our bags around them

my room was accessed through a laundry room and a lounge that felt like a set for the young ones

with ample parking you can do some great country walks from the hotel door

upon arrival we were told we had to order room service as the restaurant was fully booked in the morning

we went into the spa and tried out the pool, outside jacuzzi, salt and aroma sauna, ice fountain and steam room

told off as my kids used the hot tub and was under 16, they showed me the sign

the gym was well kitted

the corridor immediately outside was filled with laundry bags and rolls of carpet, the space should definitely

i could only suggest one improvement, its the gym, it should be open all night
