i arrived just too late for dinner ( and too early for night time room service) but the manager on duty made

good bar food , comfortable bed , friendly staff

bar service, busy,well decorated and easily parked great old school manners from bar staff check in

location was perfect for me, with no traffic and ample parking

secure parking and a nice surprise was laundry for 4 pounds/load

she was wonderful to talk to and even offered that i could use the laundry to wash and dry my clothes instead

hotel room and bathroom are stunning the downstairs bar is cool and funky and the cocktails were delicious

really have a lobby, and breakfast was taken at the attached pub/restaurant, so no lounge/lobby bar specifically

disappointed that hotel guests weren't given discount for golf darts next door

kids running up and down the corridors late at night and several times our door was knocked hard

asked for an early check in as we had to bring a family member to a hospital appointment for 7am and i emailed

the cleanliness standard of the hotel and the breakfast offered is always a selling point for me

thought the bar had rather cold lighting, it didn't make for a very cosy atmosphere

room was cozy and beds were so comfy both kids slept so well

we needed an early check in as we were attending a wedding nearby and this was accommodated for

suite and it was at the end of the corridor where lift is so didn't really have the best sleep kids did ok in

we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast and conversation

there was a dining room / kitchen we go a take away and had it in the dining room

we were able to use the main kitchen to cook our other meals

friendly, helpful, full of local knowledge and let us use her kitchen

to detail from the staff was superb, asked for an iron and the lady took my shirt to laundry to get ironed,

a full fry option at breakfast would've bee good.
