20am by a laundry delivery right outside my window, which inevitably woke me up

lift full of cleaning equipment & dirty laundry, had to squeeze in with our luggage.

there was a great bar area which we enjoyed winding down in at the end of the day

for breakfast on top of the room price - the rooms were reasonably priced but and extra 9

nothing to dislike, like bar and food was a bit expensive however.

the smashed avocado for breakfast was more like a watered purée and tasteless.

it does not tell you but there is no phone in the pods and they don't do room service in the pods

made welcome, from the complimentary tea and coffee on arrival to the owner being present in the bar throughout

wifi signal non existent. breakfast only average.

stay had by us all, the rooms were very clean and of a good size, breakfast was the best ever and staff were

no wifi which was problem for grandson but was told it woukd be sorted

breakfast was really nice, the staff at the hotel was lovely and made you feel very comfortable

parking but on road parking wasn t a problem as the hotel fronts a quiet road

friendly staff - well cooked breakfast - cosy room.. ideal for anovernight stay.

staff really nice and interested in my journey/reason for staying in duns, in my case golf

large old country hotel with lots of character, good bar and restaurant.

breakfast was great. staff very nice and interesting. meals were excellent. bar well stocked

was no additional charge for my pet which was great bonus which would make me book the hotel again, the staff

the staff were really friendly and accomodating making a fuss of both the kids and the dog

comfortable, clean, effiecient dining room service (except on wednesday evening)

no laundry on site but it's ok.

parking was tight when full and the orange juice at breakfast tasted powdery

could maybe have done with a roaring fire in the bar area too

there were lots of open laundry bags on the floor dotted around the halls / outside our room

the laundry was there for a couple of hours at least

we just had room service in the evening,, which was very good

our room was spacious, and i really liked the feature fireplace

the choice for breakfast was excellent, and all cooked well

pillows had yellow stains on them so had to use a bath towel wrapped laundry so that i dared to sleep

the staff did a load of laundry for us which was awesome

there is no room service although the hotel website inferred that there was - not usually an issue but we were

don t object to paying extra for having a pet - but room was rather cold

when we entered, expecting to see room service, no-one was there, nothing had been done, no tea, coffee, milk

drank in the bar both nights and had a great time mixing with the locals

the room felt secure and there was plenty of parking

regulars in the bar made us feel very welcome and we had a great night

private parking and very quiet slightly away from alnwick centre.

to find with plenty of parking
