the hotel is immaculate, loved the décor - it's quirky and cosy

i loved that it has kitchenette with microwave and pod machine

there was no real bar area. just a self service situation. there was no ambience.

we felt the bar prices were a bit over the top.

at the hotel, the staff were very accommodating and let us have an early check in as well as a late check out

the breakfast was so good, we had the traditional scottish breakfast, and it was so yummy

the restaurant and the room service were wonderful

everything from the staff to the atmosphere of this castle to the food (dinner and breakfast) to the rooms is just wow

the room service is not available to the rooms located in front of the walled garden

finally, the wifi was a little slow and took a little coaxing to get things to load on my phone and laptop

excellent restaurant for dinner. very friendly and helpful staff. game room was great for kids

the kids loved being 20 steps from the waterside and spent time collecting shells and trying to take in

so well furnished - a double bed, wardrobe, kitchenette, bathroom (with shower), tv, desk, dining table, sofa, fridge/freezer, and all the

slept in, the room was perfect - mountain views, soft lighting, underfloor heating, well equipped kitchen and a very high

detailing, bed, small kitchen and all small small things that they included to make the stay comfortable and of course
