we arrived late morning and asked to park straight away even though check in is not until 3

we asked for late check out but this wasn't passed onto the housekeeping team so they were trying to get into

and helpful, parking was very straightforward, bed was very comfortable and the early check in/late check out was very convenient

on arrival my room wasn't ready yet i'd paid for early check in and neva got there till 125 anyway so should of been ok to get in as ment to b able

comfortably complete all my work for the day) and there to have been clearer direction to the gym (at 7pm i was too tired to search or ask someone for direction) (-) i did think the gym was a little small and would have benefited from more space and a bit of a (-)lack of facilities - pool, gym, etc (-)gym is tiny and was very hot (it was a hot day) (-)the 'fitness suite' left a little to be desired - one multi-gym frame and a treadmill (-) tiny gym- only room for 1 person (or i guess a couple) and no floor space- plus needed to book a time to (+) good do with a lick of paint and some carpets and a shame i didn t renown i had to book the gym (-)the gym (-) the gym facilities were not the best (-) this is not a fitness suite and we actually specifically booked this hotel as it appeared the gym would suit our purposes

clubs nearby so could get loud at night but that wasnt much of a bother for me personally, £15 late check out is a bit pricey, no step free access

good accommodation. lovely food and unusual to see a bar billiards table in a pub these days

saturday night revellers leaving a neighbouring bar were noisy - but it was a saturday and it s nice to know stroud has a bit of life

the bar is stocked with both mainstream & local/lesser known ales, lagers & ciders & is a really

best bacon sarnie i ve ever had for breakfast and partner very much enjoyed the french toast
