secure parking for motorcycles behind a steel gate was a bonus

wanted to visit the mateus solar and this property was nearby with parking and with restaurants within walking distance

private parking was not available due to gate problems

we could have breakfast outside, room is very spacious, pool is great

the rooms were really small, but the common areas were great: living room, traditional kitchen with old stoves, shed for making wine and garden with a lot of wine

the fireplace in the kitchen and the balcony were both great

or cafes nearby, so a small drive to lamego is necessary if eating out, but one may also use the kitchen to cook

the kitchen is adjacent to the old wine production facilities, and the balcony looks over the village

in the kitchen there's a fridge and you can buy water and other beverages or food, which is very useful

there's a little wooden building in the car park that operates as a well-stocked bar in the evening, and offers excellent coffee in the morning

the pool was excellent too, although the parasol umbrellas were both partially broken when we tried to

one of the highlights for our kids was a small nearby farm with animals and vegetable gardens, wich made the experience even more

if you are a couple, consider a room with a spa bath (it's not actually a hot tub)

we have received 3 bottles of wine as a gift and we got a very rich breakfast to our room

staff was very helpful, the houses are new and comfortable - ours was the closest to the pool which made it even more convenient

due to the restaurant being closed we enjoyed our breakfast in the terrace with said view
