room was clean and roomy, air conditioning was perfect, kitchenette worked well

i went into another room while there and the old kitchen set up was horrendous

the kitchenette was very outdated but worked fine for what we needed

curtains in room 1 did not close, kitchen table and chairs need replacing. some chairs broken.

when my friends and i come here we just use the hotel for the pool and sleep and this hotel met those expectations

young kids were partying everywhere, even hanging off the balconies, and the rooms were dirty and smelled

very chill atmosphere. very close to boardwalk. perfect for us and our 3 kids

i think surfside motel is more college kids or single young couples that only look for a place to just sleep while out and about

also, wi-fi not so great and tv couldn't connect to shows, which upset my kids more than me

pool was nice. the owner went out of his way to make our stay comfortable.

we were nonetheless welcomed warmly and given beach passes and a street parking pass for the day

the kitchen needed major updating and the locks on the door. the tv was old and small

the shades for the kitchen were completely ruined

no breakfast was served, kitchen was full of boxes

they’ll even accommodate a late check out if it’s not a holiday weekend

it was raining on our arrival and we were able to take the kids to the indoor pool after the long drive

alone it was a great environment and quiet even though there were many kids around it was awesome

no kitchenette, management provided a microwave. which was awesome!

(+)fridge to the phenomenal shower the bed was so comfortable we slept so good having an assigned parking spot was (+)by the bay, few minutes walk to main area along boardwalk, spotless clean room, great free parking and helpful and pleasant staff (-)the parking was a little tight.

we rented bikes, played tennis and enjoyed the on site pool

parking spaces can really only accommodate small size cars so that can be a problem for those with

when i wiped up the kitchen floor, the towel came up black with dirt

room darkening drapes in second bedroom would be better than blinds. kitchen also

all rooms are not equal-some have kitchens, others just a little refrigerators.
