the hotel itself was very quiet, though the bar across the alley was loud with people in the streets talking/laughing until 3am on a weekday

the irish bar next door is open until 3am and the voices carry and can be very loud

the location is central to everything, just a street away from our favourite bar bistro poire cacahuetes et bigoudis

there was no bar for socialising, or good night drink.

although it was a b&b there it was easy to get drinks from the bar during the afternoon and early evening and on our second night we had a splendid gourmand
