so i got the wifi code hand written on my room key card

thought it was unusual that i couldn't order room service and pay at the end of stay

fab breakfast nice big room lovely staff fab hotel.

friendly and polite staff across the board food for breakfast and in the restaurant was very nice a good real ale on tap

it was often quite difficult to locate any of the staff, i usually had to go looking in the kitchen to talk to the chef

to access the room by going outside as the room was separated from the main house by the kitchen

our dog friendly apartment had the additional comforts of a fully equipped kitchen, a cosy living space and a surprisingly comfortable sofa bed

having a kitchenette with fridge and freezer was a real bonus to chill food overnight and refreeze ice

109 was above noisy kitchen which started at 7am for breakfast and later after 10pm for dinner service

staff behind bar were a good laugh and very sociable

great breakfast in that if you didn't like what was on the menu they would try to make what you wanted

room in beautiful hotel with lovely bar and other relaxing seating areas

eaten before arriving at the string of horses but seen the food when using the comfortable bar area and it looked great

and the apartment was exceptionally clean and comfortable, supplied with great items in the kitchen to self cater if needed

we have some quite complicate nutritional needs and the kitchen went out of their way to provide for us

we were upgraded to a slightly bigger suite and this came equipped with a kitchen, not that we used it as we always ate out

family connection until we arrived, but were able to provide a table for the family meal in the bar

breakfast was delicious, and the bar area and lounge was so cosy

detail - the grass needed cutting in the back of the cottage, my dog didn't mind but people with kids might

staff were excellent i was actually late for breakfast and they mustered up a super breakfast

we also walked by the river and kids had fun
