loved the decor in the bar/ restaurant especially the old golf clubs on the ceiling

the staff were very helpful the location great for the golf

great bar, service and great bar meals. good choice menu.

family room was great, it had a separate room with bunk beds for kids and as we had a teenage son, we all appreciated the privacy

we got a free upgrade to “the lodge” room, which had a kitchen, living room and private terrace

good choices on the menu including kids' one

i used the gym which was clean and easy to figure out

they loved the gym and pool facilities

spa area was a bit on the cold side. particularly the pool and hot tub.

parking is easy, the grounds are lovely and peaceful to walk around

also the cottages could have been better equipped with eg with soap and tea / coffeee in the kitchen

we had plenty of room and really appreciated the self-sufficiency that the kitchen provided

kitchen and large cooker were great for us as we cooked a lot, but the kitchen windows didn t

a cleaning pack was left in the kitchen too

kitchen was very clean, there was a lot of dust on most other surfaces

food was excellent, however the kitchen was unable to handle large groups

t couldn't find a drying up cloth
